After achieving a podium finish at Misano, Rossi stated regarding the helmet design, “Different hands touch my bike every day, hands that work with me, the hands of engineers or of Galbusera; but there are also other hands like those of my mother and my girlfriend, and these spur me on just as much”.  In addition to this being a home race, Rossi reached a milestone of 5,000 Grand Prix points and his 107th victory of his career. As you can see, this design was a very personal one for Valentino and possibly helped give him the confidence to do as well as he did that day at Misano.

Rossi Crowd Pleaser

Always a crowd favorite and an incredible rider, we hope to see Rossi involved in the sport for many years to come.  Whether it be a rider, team owner, etc., it doesn’t matter what his role is as I have a feeling he will be around for many years to come. Valentino has made an incredible impact on the sport and has touched the heart and sole of motorcycle racing forever.
