New Marquez Lid

Just launched on our site, the Shoei RF-1200 Marquez 3 Helmet is available on a pre-order status for the time being. You saw a sneak peek of a version of it last week from Marc Marquez himself when he posted pictures on his Instagram account.  He was more of asking what you thought but now, just a week later we find ourselves with a new release that looks very similar. We also shared the pictures on our Instagram and Facebook account and it seems that most of you are a fan.

Following many of the same concepts of his graphic, you are obviously missing the Red Bull graphic on the side and some of his other sponsors, but I still dig it.  The bright cherry red stands out a ton against the black that fades into Marquez’s race number. We also see the carryover of the sharp lines and symmetrical ant on the top of the helmet that we’ve seen on a few of his other recent graphic releases.  I didn’t hate the cartoon ant that we also saw on some of them, but I don’t hate that it isn’t on this one…

Either way, it is a nice looking lid that is typical with a Marquez graphic.  It isn’t crazy or over the top, but has a good, solid graphic that should please most Shoei or Marquez fans along the way.

It goes without saying, but the fact that you have this on an RF-1200 lid, you cannot go wrong with this helmet to add it to your collection.  If you are a fan of Marquez or just a red and black color scheme, this one could be for you.  Rumor has it that this helmet wasn’t meant to be released just yet and there was a bit of a slip, allowing us to show off this helmet a couple weeks early.  It is estimated that the helmet will be available to ship in June, so only a few short months away!
